 Home Health Care Aide is a service that makes a positive impact on the lives of the sick, disabled, and elderly. It assists patients with completing everyday personal tasks such as dressing, bathing and a variety of hygiene needs. This service may also include assistance in everyday duties such as shopping, transportation, and medical appointments.

As an experienced provider of personal care programs, we provide support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. Some of the services included in personal assistance are:

• Bathing or showering
• Dressing and grooming
• Hair, skin, nail and peri-care
• Oral hygiene
• Shaving
• Toileting / incontinence care
• Walking and exercise assistance
• Medication reminders
• Feeding

 Dementia care offers memory care services, medication management reminders, and attention. Often in later stages of dementia, it’s too difficult for a family to take care of their loved ones as they need more specialized, expert care from trained professionals. 

We work directly with Families and County Boards of DODD to provide exceptional personalized care. We meet with our clients families to make sure we are a right fit. We also are in direct contact with case managers through the process. Special people deserve special care!

As your loved one ages, they may lose interest in food. Mealtime may be lonely. Medications may take a toll on appetite as well. For aging parents, individuals with physical or mental impairments, difficulties with grocery shopping and preparing meals may be obstacles to good nutrition. Legacies at Home will work diligently to assist in providing nutritious and appealing meals. 

Respite care is focused primarily on the family. Taking care of your loved ones sometimes can be both physically and emotionally exhausting. Respite Care provides non-medical care during the absence of the family caregiver. Thanks to our caregivers, you will get free time to relax and regain energy and positive thinking. 

 Home Care services include chores and light housekeeping services designed specifically for your loved ones. Maintaining safe spaces and assistance with chores allows for clients to maintain their highest level of independence and quality of life. 

Personal Care is one of the most important services offered in the Home Care industry. We will assist your loved ones to maintain their highest level of independence and quality of life. 

We offer household services in order to keep your home a clean and safe place. Our services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Homemaking services are a great option for when you first begin using assistance in the comfort of your home. It includes:

• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Vacuuming and dusting
• Sweeping and mopping
• Changing bed sheets
• Laundry
• Dishwashing
• Cleaning bathroom and kitchen
• Emptying trash
• Assistance sorting and reading the mail etc.

 Companionship care is a special service that we offer. It includes the following activities:

• Accompaniment on errands or to doctor appointments
• Assistance with grocery shopping
• Walking to get fresh air and exercise
• Writing letters
• Playing games
• Reading aloud
• Friendly conversation etc.

We have partnered with the Nurses Supporting Our Troops organization and have sent out care packages around the World. The Nurses supporting our Troops are asking for your help with donations for a Care Package Drive. Drop off your donations at our office, Acute Nursing Care / ANC Homecare, 64979 Old Twenty One Road, Cambridge, OH 43725 Monday thru Friday 9-4 or call 740-439-5720. 

We are doing international mailings along with Domestic Mail to active military bases. Our first care package was received in Kuwait in May 2024 with much appreciation. Items to Donate: Bags of Chips, Hygiene Products (travel size preferred), Individually Packaged Snack Foods, Lip balm, Cooling Towels, Beef jerky (no pork products), Paper back Books

Please no items containing batteries or liquid or items that can melt in hot conditions.
